Armytek NZ is run by three Kiwi guys who love the outdoors. It all started when one of us went looking for a waterproof headlamp - a headlamp he could wear while night surfing. What he found was the Armytek Wizard C2: solid, well-made, and clearly built by people who care about quality and detail. Within a year, the rest of the family had an Armytek headlamp too. Then a mate got one. Then another. And another. That was in 2020.

Eventually, two brothers and a friend - converts by this point - figured someone should make these amazing headlamps easier to get hold of in New Zealand. So we set up Armytek NZ - the official importer, backed by Armytek Optoelectronics Inc.

We're not a store or a warehouse that happens to stock torches - we're three people who use this gear ourselves, week in, week out, and stand behind every product we sell. In fact, Armytek headlamps are the only thing we sell - no other brands, no other products. Just Armytek.

We've had ours for years without a single issue. That's the pitch really: awesome headlamps that just work.

Armytek: the last headlamp you'll ever need.
